Maw Sit Sit is a Green & Black Gem that is often confused with Jade because of similar appearance and properties. Usually, seen as a Bright Chrome-Green Laced with Black Whisps. The Bright Green color is caused by very high chromium content. Maw Sit Sit is extremely tough, resisting breaking and chipping. It has a Mohs hardness of about 6 to 6 1/2, which makes it best suited for Pendants, Necklaces, & Earrings. Maw Sit Sit is usually opaque and cut as a Cabochon.
