Collection: Jade

Two different gem materials can correctly be called "Jade." Jadeite is one of them, and the other is Nephrite. Both are Metamorphic rocks that are exceptionally tough. Jadeite comes in a wide range of Colors including: Many Shades of Green, Yellow, Reddish/Orange, White, Gray, Black, Brown, and Lavender. Colors are often Mottled or Streaked. In Jadeite, Green is the most Valuable Color. Jade is the Gemstone for the 12th Wedding Anniversary. In China, a Pierced Jade Disk is a symbol of Heaven. Confucius  wrote that Jade is like virtue and its brightness represents heaven. A Flat Disc with a Hole in the Middle, known as a “bi,” symbolizes heaven.
